Welcome to Victory Lutheran Church! We are proud to serve the spiritual needs of people like you here in the Jacksonville and St. Johns area.
At Victory, we take our mission of “winning souls for Christ and coaching Christians for life” seriously. Through Sunday morning messages, weekly Bible studies, and life groups, we’re always striving to connect people closer to Jesus and one another.

When you walk in the door at Victory, you can expect to be greeted with a friendly smile and a warm hello.
In the sanctuary, you’ll be given a worship folder which will help prepare you for and guide you through the service. If you need help finding a seat or have any other questions, our ushers will be glad to assist you!
Our Victory Family loves the sound of little ones in worship! Children are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary throughout the service.
Just before the sermon, our pastor will invite all the children to the front for a message made for them! There will be many other children up front, but if it would make your child more comfortable, you are certainly welcome to join them.
During the 10:30am service, children ages 3–5 may be excused during the sermon for Children’s Church, where they will learn about Jesus in an interactive setting tailored to them.
We also have a nursery available for any parent to use during the service.
In the worship service, we sing praises to our God, hear what he has to say to us in Bible readings, and learn what that means for our lives through pastor’s message.
After the service, we gather and enjoy some refreshments in the narthex. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect. Can’t stay? No worries! We look forward to seeing you next week!

We understand that it can be daunting to walk through the doors of a new church. We’re here to answer your questions about what to expect when you visit us.
Our worship services are about 50–70 minutes.
Please dress however you feel comfortable. At Victory, you’ll see a wide range in styles of dress. We invite you to simply come as you are.
We worship in a way that reflects the joy we feel knowing our Victory has been won by our Savior Jesus.
We use an order of worship that centers our minds on the saving work of Jesus and incorporate songs that praise him and reinforce the truths of Scripture. We use a mix of both traditional and modern music.
We hear readings directly from Scripture and a message from our pastor—all about Jesus.
Can you tell we love Jesus? He’s the reason we’re so joyful!
We offer a free class called “Starting Point” in which you’ll learn about God, faith, Christianity, the Bible, and much more.

Our ministry depends entirely upon people’s weekly offerings. All donations are used to continue our ministry of winning souls for Christ and coaching Christians for life.
During the worship service, we take time to collect an offering. However, this offering is especially for those who call Victory home. If you are visiting, you are welcome to leave an offering, but please do not feel any obligation to do so! Your presence in worship is more than enough and we’d love to know how we can serve the spiritual needs of you and your family.
