- Apr 10, 2022The King We NeedThe King We NeedSome people mock Jesus, and refuse to believe in him as the true Son of God, because in his life he displayed so much weakness and humility. That doesn't seem like what a king/Messiah/God ought to be to them! The humble, self-sacrificing attitude we see from Jesus at Palm Sunday is emblematic of all the days of Holy Week, and ultimately, the entire life of Jesus. However, as Paul explains in Philippians, that humble, self-sacrificing attitude of Jesus makes him exactly the kind of King, Messiah/God that we need!
