Lifted Up
By: Troy Schreiner
Series: Rethinking Religion
When the people of Israel were bitten by venomous snakes, God gave an interesting solution to the problem. He had Moses make a bronze serpent and put it up on a pole, so that anyone bitten could look at it and live. God also has given an interesting solution to the deadlier venom of sin--again, by lifting up something and attaching promises to it, so that everyone who looks to it in faith will live! Watch Pastor Troy's sermon to find out what God's solution to the problem of sin really is!

They needed to leave that glorious mountaintop, so that Jesus could experience weakness, humility, suffering, and death! But for us, God doesn't make us climb a mountain to see the glory of Christ revealed. We just have to open our Bibles!
