By: Troy Schreiner
Series: Schooled by the Spirit
In today's sermon text, we get a glimpse into Satan's playbook-- the kind of temptations that he and his demons have been using to tempt people since the beginning of time, and still today! When we know how the forces of darkness will attack our weaknesses, we can be better prepared to face them! However, the most important part of today's sermon text, is that we get a glimpse of God's Game Plan, the plan he put into action to save the world from sin, and to defeat Satan and his forces once and for all!

You can still catch the rest of the audio if you turn up your volume!)A decreasing number of people attend worship services every week. A growing number of people never attend worship services at all. Why is that? Many people assume worship is something they have to do for God, one more task they need to check off the to-do list. And in a world where we're constantly pursuing rest, doing more work doesn't sound overly attractive. And yet, when we see God's command to worship, we're reminded that he doesn't want us to do something for him in worship. He wants to do something for us! Not to work, but to rest! To rest, and remember!

So it's not surprising that many people demand, "I'll believe it when I see it." However, God's Word today shows us that sometimes, seeing isn't believing. When it comes to our faith in Jesus, rather than saying, "I'll believe it when I see it!" we can confidently say, "I'll believe it when I hear it!"

Watch Pastor Troy's Easter Sunday sermon, "Certain Is Better" to find out what that is!
